I am working towards expanding the diversity of book characters for children with disabilities. My characters are inspired by many of the children I have been blessed to work with.

Drawing on her experience working with children of all abilities, Megan creates heartwarming stories that celebrate diversity and representation.
Her Mission: Inclusion series introduces young readers to characters with different needs, fostering empathy, understanding, and connection through playful, relatable storytelling.

"Disability Book Week encourages individuals all over the world to become more inclusive with what they read by reading a book that features characters with disabilities. While we celebrate Disability Book Week the last full week in April, our team of volunteers helps provide disability-inclusive literature year round!"
